The organization has been operating as Netrokona Government Technical School and College since 2004. In the initial stage of establishment, short term 3 month / 6 month term training course is run. Later in the period of 1 (one) year the national efficiency standard is -3 and in the period of 2 (two) years the national efficiency standard is -1. No general education subjects were included in the course described. Students who have passed 8th class are admitted in National Skills Standard-3 and National Skills Standard-2. Later, according to the pattern of technical schools and colleges (H, SC level), the title of head of the institution was given to the principal. At the same time, by radically changing the VTIs and adding 2 (two) more trades with the existing 2 (two) trades, Mate 4 (four) trades 1. General Electrical Works, II. Pharmaceutical, 3. Dress making and 4. Welding and fabrication is introduced.
